The INDIAN-SERBIAN CHAMBER OF BUSINESS & COMMERCE, in association with the Embassy of India in Belgrade, organised a seminar-cum-networking event on the Indian Defence Industry, in its office in Belgrade on 22nd February, 2024.
The Honourable Ambassador of India to Serbia – H.E. Ms. Shubhdarshini Tripathi, graced the occasion with her presence and shared insights into the potential India holds as a market in the Defence sector.
Colonel Vijayant Sigh, Defence Attaché (resident in Prague), presented an overview of the ~USD 70+ Billion Indian Defence market and encouraged Serbian companies to tap in to this.
Several Serbian companies from the Defence sector participated in the seminar and showed interest in selling to, and making in, India. Some of these companies are already doing business with India.
The Seminar was followed by a networking lunch.
